Saving a file to media source with snippet

Hi Guys,

I need to write a script that takes a file from the web,

sends it to my server and processes it with image magik,

and then stores it to a Media Source (s3 bucket)

My main question, are media sources designed to allow this? Saving a file from a snippet to a bucket.

Any info appreciated.
