While trying to setup user groups with access to its own contexts I managed to loose access to all of my contexts except web and mgr!
Don't know exactly what leads to this problem but I think it started as I fiddled around with Context-Access entries while editing User-Groups.
How can I restore the default security settings? Is it possible or have I lost the work of 2 full days?
How can it be that a Super-Admin doesn't have full access?
Maybe someone could help?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

Oh boy.. I could repair the problem by deleting all entries in the
es_access_context table except this ones:
1 web modUserGroup 0 9999 3
2 mgr modUserGroup 1 0 2
3 web modUserGroup 1 0 2
4 mgr modUserGroup 1 9999 11
Flush permissions and all Contexts are visible again!
How can I avoid running into the same problem again?
The admin account is affected by any ACL changes you make it really isn't a super user account which is one of my issues with MODX ACLs, care to join in on the
conversation
To prevent this from happening again make sure your admin account is added to the new user groups so he has access to the resources or context of that group.
Also check out my
ACL tutorial if you haven't already.
Good luck.

Thanks for the hint of adding the Administrator to each new group!
I hope this is one of the features which will be reworked in an upcoming version of Revo!
