I’m working on my first MODx project and have recently uploaded from a MAMP environment to a live server. Everything seems to be working fine, but the Resources Browser is no longer working properly. I’ve scoured the Forum for solutions - but can’t seem to find a result.

    Server Environment
    Linux OS
    PHP 5
    MySQL 5
servers are running under SuExec mode (shouldn’t require world-writable rights)

    System/Browser
    Mac OSx 10.4.9
    Firefox 2.0.0.4, Camino 1.0.3, Safari 2.0.4

    MODx Version 0.9.5

Specifically, the problem is noticed when attempting to either:
    a) create a new folder within the Resources Browser (the error message reads "You have no permissions to create the folder")
    b) when attempting to upload a new file (the error message reads "Error, Failed to upload file, internal error...")

I feel as if I’ve tried everything for the Resource Path and Resource URL - all to no avail.

Any help would be great appreciated as I’m beginning to want to hit something smiley And please let me know if I need to include more info.

Holy crap! I got it figured out after a few days of head scratching. Seems as though it was nearly impossible to find the correct resource path. Mine was "/home/rialto/www/www/assets/" - and only found it by accident while poking around in the MySql database.

      My Resource Path is: /home/rialto/www/www/assets/
      My Resource URL is: /assets/

For those of you that are going silly trying to figure this out - I found mine in the event_log table. Within there it was shown in the "Description" column for a Ditto event.

Sorry for wasting space here smiley
