    I'm wonder if it would be possible or at least "reasonably" possible to add a "split" and "outertpl" parameter to getImageList?

    I have a situation where I'd like to split MIGX rows and wrap x no. of items in a list item. For example my row tpl in MIGX would look like this:
    <img src="[[ +image ]]" alt="[[ +title ]]" /> // Spacing added to tags for forum display

    Then my outertpl would look like this:
    <li>[[ +wrapper ]]</li>

    and then my split parameter would be say.. &split=`3` and it would output something like:
    <li>
      <img src="img1.jpg" alt="caption1" />
      <img src="img2.jpg" alt="caption2" />
      <img src="img3.jpg" alt="caption3" />
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img4.jpg" alt="caption4" />
      <img src="img5.jpg" alt="caption5" />
      <img src="img6.jpg" alt="caption6" />
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img7.jpg" alt="caption7" />
      <img src="img8.jpg" alt="caption8" />
      <img src="img9.jpg" alt="caption9" />
    </li>

    Does that make sense?

    I started taking a whack at it...but I think I was muddying up the code a bit too much..

    Looking forward to anyones thoughts!

    EDIT: P.S. I know this is possible to do by outputting to placeholders but that seems somewhat limiting .. [ed. note: jaredloman last edited this post 14 years, 6 months ago.]

      Well... I figured it out. Bruno if you see this and you'd like to add it to the official repository I've created a pull request.
