Multiple Issues with Add-ons after upgrade

Today I upgraded from 2.0.4-pl2 to 2.2.0-pl2.

I am having so many issues. I upgraded all of my add-ons so everything is up to date but I had issues with

- Formit 2.3.0 did not work, had to revert to 1.5.0
- phpthumb 1.3.2 did not work, had to revert to 1.0.0
- getResources 1.4.2 did not work, had to revert to 1.2.2
- Quip 2.3.0 did not work, had to revert to 1.2.0
- TinyMCE 4.3.2 won't work

Why is there so many issues? I do not have the code customized, but it is throwing errors left right and center.

I'd post this under the Rev 2.2 thread (https://forums.modx.com/board/?board=264) rather than General Support if I was you. You'll need to give more details though including host, MySQL version, PHP etc along with more specific details of the problems you've had with the Add-ons. You've certainly put me off updating to 2.2

It kind of sounds like your upgrade may be incomplete. It's possible that some existing files didn't get replaced when you transferred the files.

I've never had a problem with anything but TinyMCE (which I had to remove completely and re-download). That said, Susan Ottwell recommends actually removing all addons before upgrading, then downloading and installing new versions after the upgrade. This might be a good idea when making a big jump like 2.04 to 2.2.0.
