I am having problems getting modx installed.
I am using FreeBSD 6.4-RELEASE-p8, with MySql 5.5. The unzip works great, I go through the setup and everything is green check marks, at the bottom of the screen I click to create the database, then about 20 seconds later I get a 500 Internal server error.
I have set all permissions to 777 and still had the same issue.
PHP timeout is set to 180 so it's not that. What next?

What version of MODx, please?
modx-2.2.0-pl2.zip is the file I downloaded and am trying to install.
Should I try a different version? I am continuing to try different options of installing this, every time it fails to a 500 Error.
So, I still can't get this to install. Can someone help?
