Wow. I have been fighting this for days. I'm really hoping someone can help me out.

    My setup:

    • Dev Machine - Arch Linux running PhpStorm
    • Server - Arch Linux webserver VM running on the dev machine. Revo 2.2.
    • I'm trying to enable remote debugging with XDebug.

I have XDebug installed on the server. It is working. If I create a simple .php page in PhpStorm, I can enable remote debugging, refresh the page, and it will stop at my breakpoint. Everything appears to be correct.

Then, if I leave remote debugging enabled, but try to load the MODx manager, I get the error in the attached screenshot.

However, if I leave remote debugging enabled, but I turn off remote listening in PhpStorm, I do not get the error. It's like PhpStorm is having trouble relaying something very specific back to the browser.

I can't find any errors relating to this in my server log. I'm not getting anything in the MODx error log.

I'm utterly stumped. I would appreciate any suggestions, as I don't even know where to keep looking.

    Thanks,

    Tony

EDIT: "gears" is just my custom manager location. I get the same error on a completely fresh 2.2 install.
