Hello, all. I’m running MODx 0.9.6 on Ubuntu Feisty (7.0.4) with apache 2.x, MySQL 4.1 and viewing it with Firefox 2.0.0.4. If I recall correctly, in 0.9.5 using TinyMCE, there was a drop down in the create link dialog that allowed one to easily choose site documents. After upgrading to 0.9.6, I no longer see that link. Instead, we must enter a URL such as [(site_url)][~24~]. That’s a little more complicated than I would like for content creators.

I downloaded FCKEditor and actually like its seemingly greater number of options but still no drop down selection of site documents for links to documents within the same site.

Have I just configured something wrong? Is there some setting I should be looking for or is this a change? Is there a way to get back the old functionality? It seemed easier for non-html savvy content creators. Thanks - John

Goto Plugins -> TinyMCE, in tis Config tab enable its "Link List" option.

      regards.

FYI, it should just be [~24~] -- the [(site_url)] should be set in your <base href="[(site_url)]"></base> tag at the top of your head and will always keep links anchored at the root of the site.

Thanks very much. The link list is now working in TinyMCE. I do not see a way to enable the same functionality in FCKEditor. Too bad - I think I would prefer that to TinyMCE.

I was using base_url but it appears that doing so mangles links to anchors on the same page by prefacing them with the home page URL so I stopped using it.

          Thanks again - John
