    I LOVE the idea behind SIMPLX RPC, but I'm having some trouble getting it to work. I'm attempting it on an almost-blank install. The only unique parts are that it's the advanced install with core installed alongside public_html, and with the manager and connectors directories renamed (mgr and con, respectively).

    I've set the RPC controller up in resource ID#4, and the example page in resource ID#5. The example page loads fine. My query in the console looks like this (sorry for the image -- the forums were screwing up the formatting):

    Unfortunately, this returns an error in the JSON result section of the console:

    {"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32700,"message":"Parse error."},"id":null}

    I'm stumped. Has anyone used it? What am I doing wrong? [ed. note: aladage last edited this post 14 years, 7 months ago.]

      I have just validated your JSON and all seems fine. Try not to wrap ID values in quotes, it's not mandatory. Just use "id":4 since it's an integer. You can do this with all the integers like parents etc. I dont know if this changes anything but it's worth a shot.

        Thanks for the feedback, but I decided this was overkill for what I was trying to do. I opted instead to just write a wrapper snippet for getResources, which should accomplish pretty much everything I need for this project. Thanks anyway!
