I'm not sure if this is the right area to post, I'm a graphic designer with strong CSS and xhtml but low database, js and computer programming skills.
My client runs a film festival and they're launching a new website they badly need an improvement from the last one

Currently their film listings are sorted by various parameters (calendar, strand, prize). The previous devs even created this ugly but useful calendar page

So my question is this;
What is the best way to implement this segmenting of a set of listings?
is there a package i can install in modx revo that will handle this functionality?
