    Hi!

I just installed Articles on a site and got it up running. It's been easy this far and I'm impressed by it's simplicity.

However I do not want to use the default template but include the posts created with Articles to my site's template.

How do I go on about this? Can I simply call for the latest posts somehow?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nils
    • Articles uses getResources and getPage like any other "blogging" method would use. So you can use these same snippets in your templates.

There is a page in Articles documentation about templating of Articles. http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Articles.Theming+Articles You don't have to change template names in System settings unless you want to have autoselected template name in various Articles modules.
There you also have placeholders listed for things like latest posts.
