Personalize: Doesn't like instant Registration?

I've used Personalize before in Evo. First time in Revo.

If a User is logged in they see `yesChunk`.
If not, they see `noChunk`.

But Personalize doesn't like instant Registration. I have a Register snippet in my noChunk with activation=`0`. Just need to collect their info before I can show them the yesChunks.

Is there a better way to handle this? Or can I add a property set to Personalize?

This code is in one of the site's templates. It works when the User Registers on separate page and comes to the page with this Personalize call.

It doesn't work when the User starts on the page that contains this Personalize snippet.

If that doesn't make sense, this is what I want:
Someone's browsing through various downloadable products. They want to try the Trial version. SO they click the Download Trial version and, because they're not Registered, the Register chunk shows up thanks to Personalize.

The Register's submittedResourceID is that very page. But Personalize doesn't seem to know that the User just successfully Registered and the Download chunks never display. The Register chunk displays all over again (the email username is appended in the URL, which means the Register was successful).

Did you try putting the Personalize tag below the register tag on the page?

The problem is that when the user submits the form, the page is parsed before the user is actually logged in.

Nope. I have just the Personalize call on that template. I could always put in the content TV and put the Personalize call in the content pane as needed.

How would what you're suggesting look? Like this?:

Hmm, I'm not sure what I suggested makes sense. It might be simpler to just forward the user to another page after registration that contains a snippet that forwards the user back to the original page.

That would work for sure.

Or forward the user to a symlink or weblink that refers to the original page.

It's not a coincidence that so many sites have a registration form on its own separate page.

A separate page is how I wold like to handle it.

A thought: a child page with a submittedResourceID of [[UltimateParent]]. And the Parent would have a firstChildRedirect in it.

Convoluted enough that it might work. :-O
