I run an internet marketing firm. I want to create a dashboard which consists of data from API's at sites like salesforce, seomoz, mongoosemetrics, google analytics, basecamp and adwords.
This dashboard will bring all of the data together so we can work in one place. I have been trying to figure out the best platform to do this. Some have said start from scratch. Some have told me to use wordpress and I have been thinking about modx, since the majority of my clients sites are built on it.
Any suggestions? What are the pros/cons of using modx for such a project.
Thank you,
I'm not exactly unbiased, but I think MODX would be a much better platform for this than WP and I think
it would be much easier than rolling your own.

Thanks, that looks like it will do exactly as needed.
It's a fairly new feature, so there may be a few bumps in the road, but it should work well for you.
Welcome to MODX.
