about CRUD component generate script

MODx document tree and template is enough for any type of website, however, some users just like the way as gallery does or using paging type entry listing for more convenience.
CRUD is most of the thing when we create new component. I wonder if we can automatically create a CRUD model by using script or component maker add-on?
Or, does anyone have a tutorial about creating component with CRUD model from the scratch?
