    Using this code, it only works on Chrome, not IE or Firefox on latest versions.

    <li class="listItem"><span><span><a href="/[[~5]]" title="Gallery">Gallery</a></span></span></li>

    Any idea what could be causing an issue?

    The link, instead just reloads the main site.
    My setup:
    MODx Revolution 2.2.0 on Godaddy 4gh Linux
    PHP 5.2
    SQL v 5

      Well the link going back to the home page is probably because your home page is the default error page (404)

      I was going to say that you need to use
      href="[[~5]]" not /[[~5]]
      but I just tried both and both worked on three browsers Safari, Opera and Firefox (Mac OS X) - you could try not using the ' / ' and see if that works [ed. note: whistlemaker last edited this post 14 years, 7 months ago.]

        whistlemaker is right. I haven't come upon any situation where you needed a / before the id call just the [[~id]]

        Is there a reason for the double span tag? Of course that shouldn't cause a problem but seems like extra tags for nothing.

        The reason you are ending up back on the root page is that MODX is not finding the link path in your code. When this happens MODX will always default to the site root.

          That was my guess Whitesphynx, I also tried removing the / and still same issue. Any idea why it's not seeing the path?

            Are you certain the ID [[~5]] is a valid resource?
            Is it published?
