Presently running a multi-context modx installation -- each context wants its own nicely formatted mxcalendar.
How is this done??

Currently segmented by context is not in place, it's on my roadmap and I'll get added asap. Sorry the confusion and I'll make this a priority.

thank you, think many people will appreciate this -- one workaround is that you have a snippet variable which enables defining what category to use for a particular calendar display rather than all events, then recommend that per-context, use a specific category...

correct, that work around would certainly work however you'd be limited to a single category per context.
