I set up a new VPS and got MODX Revo to install but when I go into the backend manager this is what I normally get. What am I doing wrong that causes this? I have attached a jpg file to show what I am getting. Any feedbacks would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

That's the Manager without its CSS.

The first thing to try is changing the values of compress_js and compress_css to 0. You may have to do that in the DB in the modx_system_settings table. Manually delete all files in the core/cache directory after making any changes.

This has been solved - I didn't have suPHP actually running and that was causing the issue. Once I got suPHP running the site is now running like a kitten.. Thanks to amdbuilder for recognizing this!
