Bringing Evo back to life again

    We're certainly in support of bringing Evo back. During the mean time we need support. We started a project using Modx back last Dec. We haven't worked on it in a while. Now we are trying to finish before the end of Aug and need some help. Where do we go to get support? We've posted in the Evo forum but no answers.

        I've reviewed some of your help requests. Best thing I can suggest is to share them on Twitter and try to provide additional detail on use cases. Lots of helpful Evo folks here on the forums.

              Well, it passed well over my head. I guess I've been out of the US culture loop too long and don't get the more recent allusions.

                Nah it didn't, I just responded unexpectedly; this is an old allusion to IBM "blue suits" taking over a technology and turning the users into zombies. I found it extremely entertaining, despite my lightly-veiled sarcasm...

                  Ah, then I wasn't wrong in my initial thought that it was a bit snide.

                  I must admit that I did resist the trend to Revo rather strongly myself. But eventually I began to see the advantages, not to mention very quickly beginning to miss the community, and admitted to myself that my biggest objection was simple laziness. I know Evo pretty well after years of working with it, and had to be dragged kicking and screaming into Revo. I'm sure that after eight years of working with Revo I'lll know it just as well, I just won't be able to sit on my ... er, laurels and not work hard at it.

                  Although from what I've seen I'll have to start all over again when 3 is available. <sigh>
