I've created a photo gallery website and seek an efficient way to enable visitors to view a 'large' version of photos that are displayed on the site. Currently, this is accomplished with a 'larger image' link that opens a new window. It's less than ideal. Here's an example: http://bit.ly/ybaujZ

A js pop-up modal would be great, I think, especially one that dims the page when the modal opens. Can anyone recommend a solution, if one exists? I've notes the gallery solutions for ModX but haven't seen one that can support this specific experience.

Thanks [ed. note: wpicotte last edited this post 14 years, 7 months ago.]

If you like the one in your example why not incorporate it. That page uses 'Nyromodal' a jquery based script.
      http://nyromodal.nyrodev.com/

The link should explain how to deploy.
You can also look at the code of the page you provided a link to.

After posting I found and implemented nyroModal. Was very simple. Thanks for responding.
