Hi - I just started working with eForms and I wanted to implement the basic example that TobyL had given in his documentation for my site, but it doesn’t work! Can anyone help me get this fixed?
Here’s what I’ve done, step by step:

    1. I created a chunk called "eFeedbackForm" and directly cut and pasted the code from the example into the document.

    2. I created a 2nd chunk called "eFeedbackReport" for the email template and pasted the example code directly into the document.

    3. I created a 3rd chunk called "eFeedbackThanks" and did the same as above...

    4. I took the EXACT same snippet call from the example and put it in the ’eFeedbackForm’ chunk (minor edits to the return email address) right at the top of the page prior to the form fields and formatting:

    [!eForm? &formid=`feedbackForm`&to=`[email protected]`&tpl=`eFeedBackForm`&report=`eFeedbackReport`&thankyou=`eFeedbackThanks`&mailselector=`department`&vericode=`1`&subject=`Website feedback`!]

    5. I then created a "contact" form Web page on my site and pasted the eFeedBackForm chunk directly into the document:

    {{eFeedbackForm}}

And, viola! this is what I get - garbage! huh undecided

It looks as though the form is being called twice, and the validation is goofed up too. It keeps asking for a valid first and last name.

Any help here would be much appreciated!

    Thanks...

You sure you have single eForm call on that page?

Moreover you dont need *ANY* chunk/template in the doc, but only an [!eForm?...!] call, and the call should be in single line.

        You know - that’s what I thought...!

But, when I take everything off the page, chunks and everything, and just leave the snippet (on one line, like you suggested), I get this:

Document or chunk not found for template id= ’’

        See...

        What do you think?

        Thanks -

Ok - Not sure how I fixed it, but I did. *KIND OF*

Now, the issue is, I’m getting back an error for the Name field. It’s saying that it’s expecting 2 names regardless of what I put in the field. Even when I put 2 names in there, it’s giving me this error.

Your Name » Expected at least two words

Any one else know how to help?

          Much appreciated...

Please post your eForm chunk used. Also, if you could post your snippet call, that would be nice too smiley

Remove the regular expression from the name field or replace it with a valid one. (the #REGEX ... in the eform attribute) There’s an error in the example. Have a look through the eform support forums. There’s a corrected regular expression posted somewhere.
