I cannot create/Edit templates in MODx Revolution 2.0.6-pl (traditional). I just got the management of a website with MODx Revolution 2.0.6-pl (traditional) installed and I'm being able to edit, change, add or delete other elements, but I tried to edit one of the templates and When I click save, looks like is doing something, then you open the template again and the changes were not saved. Then I tried creating a new template and is not being saved. If I create a duplicate template it creates a duplicate, but again I'm not able to save the changes. I tried, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Mac and PC and Nothing!!! Any ideas on how to fix this without reinstalling the CMS?

After several trial-error I found the problem. It looks like the template creator included javascript on the code of the template and at some update, the CMS is checking for java on the code... so because it had java, I was unable to save the changes. I removed the java, converting it to chunks... once I replaced it I was able to save all my templates...

Other thing that prevents templates from saving is if you use negative numbers. For example inline style for an element with negative value.

First thing I always do with errors like this is "clear cache" then "flush all sessions and logout all users" then sign back in.

Always the easiest and best place to start especially if you've been making a lot of edits and changes then get errors.
