Run a snippet from outside MODX

Actually, I didn't try exactly that -- I tried using set() with a reference, but not a straight assignment. However, I just tested that and it fails too.

I'm kind of confused by this. Why doesn't the set() method work? modX extends xPDOObject, right? So it should inherit the set() method. resource is just one of its properties, you should be able to set() it.

I would really appreciate an answer to this, even if it's just "you can't do that."

Can you get any other information from the current resource before trying to get Wayfinder to do its thing?

When I was working on it I remember thinking that I tried that to check if it was setting correctly and that it seemed to be, and that it was more due to way Wayfinder was doing something than because the resource wasn't set, but I couldn't trace it back in Wayfinder.
