MIGX (multiItemsGridTv for modx) on modx 2.0.4 : use properties

Hi

I can not launch modx 2.0.8 to use MIGX as TV with input-properties but I hope it can work with properties instead as this note says: MIGX does also work on Revolution 2.0.8 with limited functionality. (for example no input-properties - use properties instead!) http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/MIGX

Is there any instruction on how to create properties in the props tab instead of input-properties when input type is MIGX, please?
