    Hello guys. I'm very new to ModX and trying to understand all the features coz i like this CMF as hell) But can't find any solving for my issue:

    My site has tree-like structure (example: domain/services/one.html, domain/services/two.html and so on). But i got opportunity to open my 3rd level pages typing just domain/one.html , domain/two.html without my root category. My question is how to set up ROOT directory "services/" for all my internal pages one..html, two.html preventing the opening of these pages from mydomain/ and other directories? Should i just create a new template for my internal pages "one","two" with
    <base href="[[!++services/]]" />
    ? Thanks in advance.

      You need to set the configuration "Use Friendly Alias Path" to "yes" in the Friendly URL area of the site configuration.

      You do NOT want to set that in the .htaccess file, as that tells the browser where to request all its files, such as image files and .css and .js files. [ed. note: sottwell last edited this post 14 years, 8 months ago.]

          Sottwell, it's ok for now. But i still have opportunity to open my internal pages without a container in link:
          site.com/services/1.html and same time i can open site.com/1.html but with opening a main page (no 404 error or redirect) is it ok? Trying to prevent creating dupes for search engines. [ed. note: seotop last edited this post 14 years, 8 months ago.]
