    Hi
I want to have this structure

    mymodx.com/downloads/
    mymodx.com/downloads/sub1/

I created a doc called ’downloads’ as container in manager put content in it, than manually created a downloads folder in site root and upload files by ftp but all i had is index of files when i arrive mymodx.com/downloads/ instead of content .

I try to put a downloads folder in assets folder than it worked fine except sitemap
when i go mymodx.com/downloads/ i reach the content
but in site map mymodx.com/downloads/sub1/ appears as mymodx.com/sub1/

what i am doing wrong please.

Well, if you define things more precisely you’re more likely to get answers wink

First, don’t confuse MODx documents with the filesystem of your server : creating a physical folder with a same name as a MODx document is not a good idea especially if you use clean URLs tongue

Are you using the FileDownload snippet (with or without the FileDownload plugin) ?
If so what is the snippet call ?

If not, please give this a look this will save you a lot of trouble, you seem to have strayed in the wrong direction here (unless I am mistaken, which of course can happen)...

İam not sure if should tell this to snippet owner or to you but since you are in marketing team i would like to share.I thought adding Modx site map snippet to here ( if they allow) http://code.google.com/sm_thirdparty.html may help for marketing Modx
