My provider confirmed that the php that runs on my system is PHP_CLI, but trough htacces i caould rename mij .php files to .php3 to make it run on PHP_CGI (suPHP) 5.3.
Imagemagick is not installed.

Thank you very much!
Now the first time this page is loaded takes very long, but after that the page is cached and served quickly.
What was the problem with the previous way?
Emmanuel... if you had tits i would kiss you!!! Thanx man. Struggled with this issue for a long time. Think something to do with the PHP configuration that my provider uses. Tried phpthumbof, could not get result but your did the trick. What does the zc=1 do? I'm also curious what causes the problem that makes gallery continiously make thumbnails?
Heh Enjoy ! Happy to help. Honestly i don't know the reason of all this as gallery use phpthumbof too !!

) maybe something with the check of existing files..
Yes the page is very slow to load the first time but when the cache is built it's done. With this technique, i load 15 galleries with more then 10 images each "on the same page" and i get 0 sec loading page
happy modx'in !
