Calendar of documents. How to make?

Hello all!
Does someone know how can i show my documents from resources tree in form of calendar like it shown in picture?
When i click on one of days in calendar i need to show all documents/articles which were published in that day. And i want to be able to change the month with buttons(arrows) like in picture.
Please, tell me who knows better way to realize it. I think it could be useful not only for me.
