    I'm trying to produce a list of articles by TV. I've tried using getResources but it doesn't seem to pick up articles at all, let alone filter them.

    [[!getResources? &parents=`idofarticlescontainer` &tpl=`chunk` &limit=`` &processTVs=`1` &depth=`1` &tvFilters=`tvname==%value%`]]

    Is there a way of doing this with the Articles snippet? If so, what are the filtering variables available?

    Appreciate there's little documentation yet (i know how busy people are) but it's a bit awkward producing relevant lists without being able to at least use getResources.

      Don't you also need &includeTVs=`1`

        Tried it with includeTVs as well - no joy. I've tried it without any TV filtering as well and it just doesn't return Articles-related resources. It returns other resources fine.

              Hey,

              Has any worked out if you can use a TV value to filter the article tag output?

              something like this

              [[+articles? &tvFilters=`tvNamearticle==%Value%`]]

              I could use getResources and then redo the pagination but it seems a waste of code when the article tag is there to be used.

              Any suggestions appreciated!

                Hi damshawthing, did you manage to find a way to filter using the articles tag?

                EDIT: Solved. https://forums.modx.com/thread/83210/filter-by-tv-using-the-tag-to-keep-friendly-urls#dis-post-459070 [ed. note: ficklelife last edited this post 13 years, 7 months ago.]
