Hi,
resolved most of the problems that occured after a domain name change. Last issue is the abbility or lack of it to create an album for the installed "gallery" snippet. Just keeps saying, please wait. nothing happens, CHMOD and ownership of files seems okay. I reinstalled the snippet from scratch, no help.
Path statements in sytem seem okay. Ha a gallery running fine before renaming.

I'm not really that familiar with Gallery, but I guess it is trying to load an ajax call to the old domain which will not work. Using Chrome Dev Tools or Firebug in Firefox, click the Network tab and reload the Gallery page in the manager. I'm guessing you'll see a request that's failing to load and it should give you a clue where to look to update the url.
Have you completely cleared out the cache?
okay that gives some results. It must be a server setting. If I use the url without www, it responds, "Apache is functioning normally". I have to use www.
Now through firebug i notice that the call to create a gallery is made to connector.php in the url without www. Will see what that can be but any suggestion is welcome.
Solved, issue was not MODx but the host gave the www.paradisodiarolo.com a different IP than the the url without www.
Scripts were trying to run from the url without www, however there s nothing there.
