I recently started using Modx Revolution and really like it. I have a situation that I think Modx could handle quite nicely, but need some input from more experienced users. First things first, I know very little coding (PHP, Javascript, etc.) but am capable with HTML. Okay, here it is. There is a portion of a site I'm working on where I need one of three information blocks to display based upon the visitor's zipcode, which they would enter into a text field. Furthermore, the customer needs to be able to update the information blocks that the visitor will see on a daily basis. There will roughly be 100 zipcodes, with each belonging to one of the three blocks of information. Hopefully this provides enough information to at least get a discussion going. If this will require a lot of coding to accomplish and there is someone who is experienced and wants to tackle it, then I would be interested in talking with you about what something like this would cost. Hopefully the resulting Snippet would then be useful for the rest of the Modx commmunity. Thanks for you help.
Can you use the zip code from the logged-in user's user profile (that would be easiest to implement) or will the user have to enter the zip code for each view?
