publishedon date show in other languages

Hi Shawn,

my cultureKey is de and all dates in my blog, including the archivist list are being shown in english. It is as if it's not being read.

Any thoughts?

I presume that you are talking about date format and that you have context for de...

If that is the case, have you tried to change date format in system settings for that context?

The date format I am able to change as such:
*publishedon:strtotime:date=`%d. %B %Y`

But I had assumed that the cultureKey is taken into account in order to print Februar (for a German site) vs. February.

The web context hast the right cultureKey assigned to it. My web context will be the de context.

I am not certain I follow you when you mean to change the date format in the system setting for the context. In the system settings, I have 'de' assigned to everything associated with the language settings.

You should set property locale in System settings or context settings to value de_DE.utf8
