    is it possible for modx to be setup so that if a user who was logged in logs out and then presses the back button in the browser, instead of the browser reloading a cached version of the page, it contacts the server again to get a new copy of the page (and is then redirected to the log in page)?

    I’ve tried tinkering with mod_expires and mod_cache on apache, but i’m not getting it right. i’ve added the following to my .htaccess file:

    <Files *.html>
    Header append Cache-Control "no-cache, must-revalidate"
    </Files>

    do i need to do something to modx to make this work, or is it just a case of including something else in the .htaccess file?

    cheers

      Those headers are already being sent by MODx.
