I saw an old post about this, but it was closed. I’m running 0.9.5.

I turned on CAPTCHA, logged out, and now I can’t log back into the manager because the image doesn’t show, just
"Please enter the security code shown in the graphic. If you can’t read the code, click the image to generate a new one or contact your site admin."

I’ve got GD and FreeType installed. There’s supposedly a way to get into the database and turn CAPTCHA off, but the post I saw this in was for 0.9.2, and I’m wondering if this will still work with 0.9.5.

I’d also like to get CAPTCHA working...

    Thanks

    UPDATE:
I went into the database, went to the system_settings table, and changed the setting captcha_words to have just one value, "Access". When I try to log in with this, I get the message that the code still doesn’t validate. Do I need to empty my cache folder?

The pending 0.9.6 release should resolve some outstanding CAPTCHA issues with manager login, including:
      http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/823
      http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/869

The instructions for disabling this in 0.9.2 should still applicable.
