1. How about the performance if there are thounds of document under one folder. Does it cost much time to display?
As with any CMS/CMF you’re going to have performance issues on large sites. I’m running a site with 500+ documents with reasonable speed (Using PHx and SEO), around 0.9 - 0.13 seconds parse time.
Bryan College has over 2000 documents running with MODx.

2. Sometimes, I create one folder with template one (eg. news list) but I only permit the editor could post under this folder with another template (eg. news item), how can I do? Is it possible assign a specific template for sub documents?
You could design a plugin to do this, but it’s not possible out-of-the-box.

3.How can I cut the length of words(eg. title of document or summary of document), I found it is possible to use Ditto Summary extender, but I am still wondering how can I get the specific length of other values(eg. title of document) because when publishing the docuemnt as news list, I really need to cut the title for better layout. Are there any existed method to do so or how can I do so regarding ditto 2.0
You could utilize the longtitle document element of your pages. Set the pagetitle to something short for ditto to display, and then in the longtitle write out the full title.
Alternatively, take a look at
PHx documentation to see if it can offer a solution. Personally, I’d use PHx as an absolute last resort, only after I’ve exhausted all other options because upgrading PHx’d site to 0.9.7 may prove to be difficult. We’ll just have to wait and see what OpenGeek has in store for upgrades.

4. About cache, I disable the template switching, and caching correctly, but still can’t export to the static html files.
Caching and exporting static html are two completely different functions of MODx. When exporting a site, you have to make sure that [tt]/assets/export/[/tt] is writable by your webserver.
Enjoy!
