Hi everyone,
I was wondering what a recommended minimal HW configuration for running REVO is, I wasn't able to find it and manager interface in my install on an older HW seem to be really slow. So now I am wondering whether this is just a hw problem, or whether I am doing something wrong configuration-wise.
The machine I am running this is on is an older Pentium M 1,5 Ghz laptop with 512 MB RAM. It runs a fresh install of debian with basically only apache(2.2.16), mysql(5.1.49-3), php(5.3.3-7) and core services (sshd...) running, I've downloaded and installed latest revo (2.2.0-pl2) today.
For example, switching from editing one page to antoher takes almost 50 seconds, I've tried looking at firebug network report,e.g. this url:
/manager/min/index.php?f=/manager/assets/modext/core/modx.localization.js,/manager/assets/modext/util/utilities.js,/manager/assets/modext/core/modx.component.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.panel.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.tabs.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.window.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.tree.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.combo.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.grid.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.console.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.portal.js
takes more than 31s to load
I am wondering whether this is a just a slow HW problem, or whether I should check for some configuration issues,
Does anyone have experience with running REVO on similiar hw, please?
Thank you,
K.
