I am curious to know if anybody has developed (fully or partially) a methodology for deploying ModX in an automated fashion, for example, with Puppet ?
I wrote a Puppet module that will download a given version of the ModX archive file, unpack it to a specified directory, and set up the sub-directory structure and permissions. This is already useful, however, it is (obviously) not the end of the setup procedure.
Has anybody else had any success in this area ? Perhaps we could share notes. Thanks !
