    Hello,
When I save a resources the save window continues indefinitely even though the saving process has been completed - I have to shut the browser window and open a new one to attempt further tasks. Clearing the cache makes no difference.
Where do I look to find a solution?

      What version of MODX?

In the latest version, setting compress_js (and sometimes compress_css) to No in System -> System Settings sometimes fixes quirks like that.

BTW, have you tried just reloading the page? That usually works for me.

        Thanks Bob,
I am using the latest version.
I tried your suggestions and nothing changed so I decided to investigate further.

It appears that it not a Modx issue but is browser related. I have been using Firefox on my workstation so tried Chromium and it worked perfectly. I then tried Firefox on Windows7 in a VM and it worked perfectly, as did Firefox on another machine running Linux, so it appears to be the iteration of Firefox running on this workstation.
I have no idea why, but as it is not Modx related I will have to investigate elsewhere.

        Thanks for your help.

Are there plugins in that particular version of FF (e.g., Firebug) that you could try disabling?

Chrome is so much faster in the Manager that I almost never use FF any more.

            Thanks Bob,
I think I will just use Chromium.
