I already did download modx again and used the new files in the second project it was a clean start. I did what you said and dropped the tables. I started a setup and it worked but when I got to the login it went to the page that says could not find that URL on this server. What is it that makes the table the first project has tables also don't you need the tables? I think I will delete everything and start over with bother projects I am not sure if I should what if nothing works then. I could start over with new databases
Is there an .htaccess file (not ht.access) in the root of the second site? That could cause your problem. Friendly URLs are turned off by default in a new install so there shouldn't be an .htaccess file until they are turned on.

No there isn't a .htaccess file there is a ht.access
In that case, I don't know what could be causing the trouble. Sorry I can't be more help. Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

I deleted everything and started over and things are working know I must of setup DB incorrect.
