Content using Rich Text editor,

I presume it’s not the matter of rich text editor (tiny mce) so I am posting it here.
I don’t know why but every time I’m back editing a resource in which earlier, I’ve switched OFF rich text editor in the main content window, modx switches it on.
As you can imagine it messes up the whole page. Is there a way to avoid it? I can’t switch off rich editor setting, because I need it for tv’s.

Did you try saving the resource, clearing the cache, and reloading the page?

Sure, but the effect persists. I am running revo 2.2 upgraded from 2.1.2.

There are some issues with 2.2 that are causing some quirks. One is the compress_js (and sometimes compress_css) System Settings. You can try turning those off in System -> System Settings. Another issue is the System Setting for date/timezone, which has to match the Php, MySQL, and System settings.


Those would be the next thing to try.

Worst case, you could use PhpMyAdmin and change the richtext field of the resource from 1 to 0 in the modx_site_content table.

I've tried every possible way but it didn’t work. I did the "worst case" scenario but isn’t the same as switching off, rich text in the site resources? It works but I loose rich text editors in template variables...so it's not really a solution...
