Blog setup woes....:(

Ok, I have searched, tried everything till I’m blue in the face, but still can’t get my blog to work correctly.

I have tried messing with Jot, Ditto, NewsManager and NewsEditor, and all of the current snippets that replaced the older ones from the "How to setup a Basic Blog" page.

Can someone provide some assistance to me?

I can’t get the comments from the users to show up, and when I try to use DittoCal for the calendar portion, it throws parse errors all over the place and takes my site down.

what made things make sense for me was, I stilled the demo site when you do the install, it creates a blog for you.

Ditto can freakout if you don’t ahve documents for it to search in the startID folder, like you give it an empty folder, it will have a fit. the New Ditto2 should just display " none found"
