Hi, I've installed revo 2.2.0 and totally new to Modx. I understand page content is created as documents which appear in the resource tree, but they seem to take their name from the Page Title (which is obviously a long winded title of the site's page in a browser for SEO purposes). This looks confusing to say myself and also clients who might want to easily locate the 'home page' or another page to edit. Is it possible to control the names of documents in the resource tree? im sure there will be but i just haven't figured it out yet.
You can choose any Resource field to be displayed as the name of the Resource in the tree.
Goto System > System Settings and choose from the Filter by area the item Back-end Manager.
In the list you find the key Resource Tree Node Field which by default is set to pagetitle. Change it to the field you prefer.
