How might I delete or hide the date on menu items, as in this example: Events Calendar (23-Jan-12 12:24)?. I would prefer if the date displayed referred to the latest edit rather than the date published but hiding would be fine as well if that's possible. Many thanks in advance, Eamonn

eamonn, do you mean to hide the date when editing a resource in the Manager?

Or do you mean to hide it in the front end? If you are using Events Calendar, it probably has a Tpl chunk to format each event and you could just edit that.

Hello, Many thanks for getting back to me. The "system info" gives:
          MODx version 1.0.5
          Release date Jan 19, 201
I don't know if it is Evo or Revo.
I would like to change or remove the dates from some "Latest News" items on the Home page front end. I understand how hard it will be to answer this without seeing the system as it is setup and I know the change needs to be made in a chunk, snippet, template or whatever, but it is not very obvious where - not to me in any case! That's Evolution. The odds are that the items are being collected and displayed by Ditto. Look in your template in the location where they appear, you'll probably see a ditto tag.

            [!Ditto]

If so, you probably just need to edit (or create) a Ditto Tpl chunk.

Post the Ditto tag here (in code tags) and we can probably give you more explicit advice.
