[Solved]Error updating tables - upgrade to 2.2.0

    I've just successfully installed a local copy of my site (2.1.1) and then started the upgrade process to install 2.2.0. I'm getting the db erros seen below.

    If I try to login to manager, I get an internal server error. My apache logs show:

    PHP Fatal error:  Undefined class constant 'OPT_CONN_INIT' in /path/to/site/manager/index.php on line 56


    I've since tried to view my site or return to setup but now log shows:

    PHP Fatal error: Class 'xPDODriver_' not found in /path/to/site/core/xpdo/xpdo.class.php on line 1456

    Is the jump for 2.1.1 to 2.2.0 too big? Is there something else I'm overlooking?

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!

        Sounds like you have not put the 2.2.0-pl2 files in place. It is still using an older version of the core.

          Thanks opengeek,

          I should have read the upgrade docs more carefully. I've got the site working, but get the following error message in my apache log:

          PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function render() on a non-object in /path/to/site/manager/controllers/default/welcome.class.php on line 65


          In searching the forum and the web for answers, I came across this post:

          I've downloaded the 2.2.0 again, uploaded all the files, re-run setup and get the same error. As in the post metioned above, I've renamed the welcome.class.php file in order to login.

          Any ideas? At least I can carry on working for the moment;)
