Can't save CSS file once edited

    I am trying to add a property to a CSS selector in my style.css file located in /_modx1/assets/templates/mytemplate/style.css

    When I edit the file and click save I get a box that says "success! file saved". However, the file's modified date does not change and my edits disappear.

    Any help? Thanks.

      First off, what version of MODX are you using?

      Secondly, you're editing a .css file within the file manager in MODX? How important is it to you to edit within MODX? You could very easily edit with a text editor, save/upload the file to the server, and circumvent this error.

      It would be helpful to know the MODX version and your environment.
