Is it okay to individually update Articles' components??

The Quip version installed by Articles is telling me it wants to be updated.
We don't presently use comments but will updating Quip break Articles etc.??

They can all be updated as updates become available. Pay attention, though, as one of the components (I forget now which one) was offering an "update" to actually a previous version of the one installed by Articles.

I recently had some issues caused by moving a site from local dev to a live server. This caused some problems with articles and various packages. I removed and reinstalled the various Articles packages manually and this fixed my problems. So it seems it's ok to install/update independently.
