    Hi,

I'm trying to make a SimpleSearch form where the user can select different areas to search ie. different resources and their children.

I would like to have a couple of checkboxes below the form, with the default of all and another "Only blogpost" and "Only products". I'm thinking that I need the
    [[!SimpleSearch? &ids=`WHAT HAS BEEN SELECTED`]]
to change according to what has been selected.

Can anybody tell me how to do that? Or point me in the direction of an answer.

    Best Regards

Mathias [ed. note: MathiasD last edited this post 14 years, 9 months ago.]

To clearify a bit. What I probably need is a way to change the value of the "ids" property when the form is send, according to which checkboxes has been checked.

I don't know how to do this with SimpleSearch.

With AdvSearch depending if you would like use an ajax mode or not:

        - without ajax mode - look at this demonstration page.
