I know it works with Evo 1.0.1 and not with 1.0.5. Not sure about the versions in between.
I know it works with Revo 2.1.1.

I just checked, and the combination of versions was MODX Revolution 2.1.3-pl and Provisoner 1.00 pl, and the imported website was running on Evolution 1.04.
You have to play around with the settings in Provisoner, to find those that best suits you.
And remember: Provisoner will overwrite all!
