I've been working on a website where my client wants to make use of a calendar to show upcoming events on their website. Right now I tried making use of getResources and migx to create some sort of calendar.

    It works like this:
The client can create a document (month) to which they can add events using migx. The website uses getResources to display the months and migx displays the events in that month.

    For an example visit: http://www.triasshorttrack.nl/kalender

I know this probably isn't the best solution but so far it works fine. The only problem I have is displaying upcoming events on other pages. I want the user to see 3 upcoming events but right now it just displays the three events that were first added to the "calendar".

Is there a solution to solve this problem? Do I need to rebuild my whole calendar since this isn't the best solution? If so, can anyone advise me in choosing a good calendar plugin/snippet that let's me present the calendar in the same way it does now?

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks!
