Hi there, I'm still quite new to modx so any help would be appreciated.
I'm adding some hash links (e.g. a href="#information") within a resource and then using jquery to capture the link in relation to a similarly named div (div id="information") the problem is that with the base url set I need to add the following link to make sure that the current resource is identified:
<a href="[[~[[*id]]]]#information">
but this gives me a href output of href="www.somesiteurl/somefolder/someresource#information"
when what I really need is just this hre output href="#information"
Is there some element of modx configuration I'm missing which automatically identifies the current resource and asigns the appropriate url so it's easy to add hashed links?
Hi there, yes I have searched, seen those links and tried them but they output something along these lines:
href="/somefolder/someresource#information"
rather than the output I wish for which is simply this:
href="#information"
Essentially anything other than an anchor link breaks a jquery plugin I was attempting to use so I wondered if the community had found a way around this.
In the end I've just ended up using the modx tag to reference the current page, added the anchor and written my own jquery plugin to get around it.
