In regard to Ext, I have problems running their demos in Safari and sometimes also Firefox on Mac OS X – they seem to leak quite a bit of memory... Maybe just my setup.

I’ve had great results with Ext and Safari under Tiger... :/

Though I’ve found disabling FireBug drastically improves the performance when I’m using just about any Ext script, I actually find the new manager very responsive and natural in Firefox (yes, on Windows) so far. But it just so happens to have the benefit (my opinion) of using mootools as the underlying framework, rather than the usual suspects (YUI, jQuery, and Prototype/Scriptaculous) exemplified on the Ext demo site.

If it makes you feel any better, the guy who’s implementing it is a Mac guy. laugh

The new manager sounds awesome, can’t wait to see it in action! I’ve never really been a fan of frames but I thought they worked will with MODx anyways. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how this gets implemented! grin

I am just watching all the commits to the SVN come in that are related to EXT. I think I am drooling. Anyone have anything to pick my mouth up off the floor?
